You’re one bad week away from remembering how lucky you are.

When you’re overseas and you’re pissed because the coach is being a dick, remember somebody back home would kill for one day, doing the thing you get to do for a living.

When the check is late and you feel yourself losing your shit, somebody is clocking a double shift just to keep the lights on, and they’d trade places with you in two seconds.

When your apartment feels small and you’re sick of the setup, somebody’s sharing a room with three people and still can’t make ends meet.

And when you’re lonely and tired of eating alone, somebody’s alone in a way they can’t fix, and they’d give anything for a teammate, a gym, a purpose, any of it.

Still….

You get to play,

You get to travel,

You get to live a life most people dream of.
