WELCOME TO OVERSEASX, FABY! 🇮🇹🏀

I am incredibly excited to introduce @Fabiola Petecchi, our new Communications Manager at OverseasX! Or, as you’ll all come to know her, Faby!

One of the things I’ve always wanted as we build OverseasX is to surround ourselves with people who understand international basketball and genuinely care about the people who make this incredible world go around. That’s exactly why I’m so excited to have Faby joining us.

Faby is from Italy and brings valuable experience working with Vanoli Basket Cremona, a professional basketball club competing in Italy’s top division, Lega Basket Serie A. Her background in sports marketing, communications, and sports management gives her an understanding of European basketball from inside the organizations themselves, which is an incredibly valuable perspective for what we’re trying to build.

I spent a huge portion of my life experiencing overseas basketball as a player, dealing with the excitement, uncertainty, relationships, and occasional absolute insanity that comes with making a living playing a game in another country. Having someone on our team who has experienced that same basketball world from the club side gives us another perspective, and I think that’s going to make OverseasX a much better community.

And here’s the important part for all of you. You’re going to get to know Faby personally!

She’ll be working directly with our community, communicating with members, engaging with you across our social media platforms, and helping make OverseasX a place where people can connect and feel comfortable reaching out.

As we continue growing, I want our members to know the people behind OverseasX. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, sharing your experiences, and getting involved in what we’re building together. Faby is going to be a huge part of making that happen.

So if you have questions about OverseasX, need some help inside the community, or simply want to connect, please reach out to Faby! You’ll be seeing her around our social channels and inside the community, so make sure you introduce yourself and give her a warm welcome.

I’m incredibly proud of the people we’re bringing together at OverseasX, and adding someone with Faby’s international basketball experience and communications background is another exciting step forward for us.

We’re building something that I wish had existed when I was playing overseas, and having great people who understand this world is how we’re going to get there.

Welcome to the team, Faby! We’re damn lucky to have you, and I can’t wait for everyone to get to know you!
